Celebrate your achievements at TCC's Commencement! Guests attend free. Remember to file for graduation, pick up your cap and gown, and order announcements.
Spring 2025 Commencement Details
Monday, May 12, 2025 at 7 p.m.
For Graduates
Grads will begin receiving emails in early April with event details.
Regalia will be available for pickup at the Campus Stores on the Metro, Northeast, and Southeast campuses.
Guests
No tickets are needed, and there is no limit on how many guests may attend.
Parking
Graduates and guests are responsible for their own parking near the BOK Center. Public garages and street parking may be available and could require payment. Plan ahead with the BOK Center Offsite Parking Map.
Free parking is available at the TCC Metro Campus (909 S Boston Ave), approximately 0.7 miles—or about a 15-minute walk—from the BOK Center. See the TCC Metro Campus Map for parking lot locations.
Entrance
Use the Grand Lobby Entrance, located at the northeast corner of 3rd Street and Denver Avenue.
Bag Policy
To ensure a safe environment, the BOK Center enforces a clear bag policy for all guests. Review the full before arriving.

Students, Get Ready for Graduation & Commencement
When you reach the add/drop date of your last semester, it's time to file for graduation with your academic advisor. They'll guide you through the process and let you know if there are any outstanding requirements you need to wrap up before the semester ends.
Priority Deadline
The deadline to file ensures that your name will be included in the commencement program.
- Fall — last Friday in October
- Spring — last Friday in March
- Summer — second Friday in July (if you plan to graduate in the Summer you may file for graduation by the Spring deadline and then participate in TCC's commencement ceremony in May.)

At Commencement, TCC recognizes scholastic achievement for students achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher at the end of their last completed term.
- With Distinction: Graduating with a 3.5 - 3.99 cumulative GPA.
- With Highest Distinction: Graduating with a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
Students who successfully complete the Honors Scholar program will proudly wear pewter medallions during the commencement ceremony.

At Commencement, professional photographers will be taking photos of all graduates.
Check your TCC email for a message from Candid Color Photography to upload a selfie for facial recognition identification at Commencement.
TCC is partnering with Parchment Inc. to provide graduates with digital and printed diplomas. Digital diplomas will be available to students approximately four weeks after Commencement, with printed diplomas being mailed approximately six weeks after this date.
