New Regent Named to TCC Board of Regents

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin has appointed Robin Flint Ballenger to the 秀色直播Community College Board of Regents.
Ballenger is currently the chairman of Flint Resources Company, LLC, and president of the Flint Family Foundation. She was officially sworn in at the TCC Board of Regents meeting in March.
鈥淚t is a wonderful honor to have a chance to serve as a Regent of 秀色直播Community College. I believe TCC is a major asset for Green Country, and I am eager to serve its students and to support its mission,鈥 Ballenger said.
Ballenger is a 秀色直播native and Holland Hall graduate. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College and holds two masters degrees, one from Occidental College in Los Angeles in Urban Studies and one from the University of Southern California in Gerontology.
She is the third generation of the Flint family to lead Flintco, a diverse, national construction company with offices in seven cities, until its sale in January, 2013. She served as Chair of the Board of Flintco, LLC and its subsidiaries.
A citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Robin served as president of the Cherokee Nation Foundation, a tribally chartered nonprofit, and has served on the Cherokee Nation Citizens鈥 Compensation Committee. She is a past Board member of the Cherokee Heritage Center.
She has been honored by many local agencies, including winning the Greater 秀色直播Area Indian Affairs Commission鈥檚 Charles Chibitty Family Community Contributor Award for her tireless efforts to improve lives in Native American communities. She was inducted into the 2010 秀色直播Hall of Fame.
Ballenger is active in the community and works with organizations such as 108 Contemporary, Clarehouse, Philbrook Museum of Art, River Parks Authority, Saint Simeon鈥檚 Foundation, 秀色直播City-County Library Trust, and the 秀色直播Funders鈥 Roundtable.
